Tessa is the owner and creative force behind Romi Salon. With over a decade of experience, she’s known for her lived-in colour, effortless blondes, and seamless extensions.

She built Romi from the ground up, taking on the renovations herself to create a space that feels calm, welcoming, and considered.

Tessa genuinely loves her clients (and it shows), whether she’s perfecting your colour or bringing in homemade chocolate for the salon.

Israel is a Brazilian hairdresser based in Auckland, known for his expert balayage, dimensional colour, and effortlessly natural results. A self-proclaimed balayage ninja and colour specialist, he’s all about creating hair that looks seamless, fresh, and healthy.

With over a decade in the industry, Israel blends technical skill with a laid-back, easygoing vibe making every appointment feel relaxed while keeping you completely confident in the process.

Rita is the newest stylist at Romi Salon, bringing fresh energy, creativity, and a real love for making hair feel fun and fabulous. She specialises in colour, cuts, and extensions, with a focus on creating looks that feel effortless, flattering, and uniquely you.

Nina is an emerging stylist at Romi Salon, and this is her first role in the industry. She’s excited to be starting her journey in a creative space and learning from a team of experts.

With a fresh eye and lots of curiosity, Nina brings great energy to every appointment. She’s passionate about growing her skills while helping clients feel comfortable, confident, and happy with their hair.

RECEPTIONIST

Nixon is our resident greyhound and self-appointed receptionist. He spends his days greeting clients, supervising the salon floor, and soaking up as many cuddles and as much fuss as possible.

Totally nonchalant in nature, he takes his role very seriously… in the most relaxed way possible. If you’re lucky, he’ll get up from his bed just to give you a gentle nose boop before settling straight back in.
